Flowers

One thing I really like about our house is the window boxes just outside our living room and bathroom windows. Last year, I never got around to planting them and they just looked sad and lonely all spring and summer. This year, we freshened the boxes up and got them planted. Now seeing the flowers right outside the windows makes me happy.

We also spent part of last evening having a picnic and planting flowers at the community garden on our church's property. It was a great time of fellowship and the boys loved helping out, particularly watering the newly planted flowers!
