On this day in 2014, we had some great family time picking strawberries--our annual tradition that resulted in nearly 20 pounds of berries! Whoa! We barely moved down the row and filled two flats. John likened it to picking out a puppy: you really want them all, but eventually have to stop somewhere!

The boys climbed to the top of a hill on the farm. Brennan loved running back down the hill, but Owen attempted rolling down it and typically only succeeded in rolling sideways across the hill. He had fun anyway!

What are you going to do with all the berry bounty?
I froze a ton, made a pie, and made strawberry syrup for pancakes. We've also been eating them on their own (the boys go through them like crazy!).
